  • Female Sexual Abusers: A Theory of Loss - Awareness about female sexual abuse perpetrators has increased in recent years. The best estimates put female perpetrators of sexual abuse at about 20% for male children and 5% for female children.

  • The Safer Society Foundation, Inc. - A nonprofit agency and national research, advocacy, and referral center on the prevention and treatment of sexual abuse. Provides a variety of services related to the prevention and treatment of sexual abuse.

  • The Sidran Traumatic Stress Foundation - Resources for persons with dissociative disorders and treating professionals. extensive catalog of books and videos on trauma, post-traumatic stress disorder, dissociative identity disorder (MPD), child sexual abuse.

  • Stop It Now - Information about and help for: child sexual abuse, sex offenders, victims of child abuse, parents of youth with sexual behavior problems, professionals working in the field of child abuse.

  • Stop Prisoner Rape - Dedicated to combating the rape of male and female prisoners and providing such assistance as they can to survivors of jailhouse rape.

  • 1in6 - The mission of 1in6 is to help men who have had unwanted or abusive sexual experiences in childhood live healthier, happier lives.
