The Men's Program (Grey/Bruce), which serves the counties of Grey and Bruce, in Ontario, Canada, is launching a Male Survivor Program and is offering a a one-day training for area front-line professionals on April 18, 2013. The training is jointly sponsored by the Ontario Trillium Foundation, Bruce Grey Child & Family Services and The Men's Program. Psychotherapist and MaleSurvivor Weekend of Recovery Facilitator Team member Rob Hawkings, MA, MES, MBA will be featured, and his presentation will be highlighted by selected video footage from Boys and Men Healing.

For those interested in clinical training and an orientation to group work with
men, a second day of training will be offered, free of charge, on Friday April 26
from 9:00 am – 4:00 pm, at The Men’s Program (Grey Bruce), 925-2nd Avenue
East, Owen Sound.

This training will be available to those who attended the first training day. It will focus more on clinical skills and an orientation to group work with male survivors. Sign up for this day (April 26) will be available on April 18. This training is sponsored by the Ontario Trillium Foundation,
