Our groups are process oriented groups. The agenda is generated by the issues that the group members bring in each week but all work is focused on understand the damage that early childhood sexual abuse and trauma does to one’ s life and sense of self. We explore all issues from anxiety, depression, suicidal thoughts, addictions, anger. We only offer group therapy, not individual nor do we do trauma assessments. In 2009 we marked the 15th anniversary of our program.
The group runs in blocks of 15 weeks, with each session being two hours long. Over the course of a year we run approximately 36 sessions x3 groups. We break over the Christmas holiday season and do not run group during the summer.
