The Secret
The bell rings
The kids run out to the playground
He jumps into a game with his friends
Not a care in the world
His blue eyes sparkle in the sunlight
Just like a little boys eyes should
No one looks at him
He doesn’t give them any reason
No one looks deep into his blue eyes
No one see the secret
His blue eyes sparkle with joy
He laughs and plays
Just like the other boys
He hits the ball
He runs the bases
He laughs and smiles with his friends
No one knows his secret
No one care about him
He just plays the part that he was told to play
His blue eyes sparkle in the sunlight
His blue eyes sparkle as long as there is sunlight
In the dark,
His blue eyes cry
He doesn’t run and play with his child friends
In the dark he plays different games
Games that make his blue lose their sparkle
Games that hurt his soul
Games he is told are games of love
In the dark he’s not a little boy
In the dark he plays his games
In the dark the little boy doesn’t run the bases
In the dark his blues eyes don’t sparkle
In the dark he doesn’t smile
In the dark he doesn’t laugh
In the dark he doesn’t sleep
In the dark he keeps his secret
The bell rings
The kids run out to the playground
He jumps into a game with his friends
Not a care in the world
His blue eyes sparkle in the sunlight
Just like a little boys eyes should
