I'm doing quite well in not eating rubbish in the morning or at lunch now, I usually stop by the donuts/cookies section and consider it, walk away to another section and come back, and do that a few times until I can convince myself not to buy any.
I'm actually quite athletic in physique, but that's because I have a good metabolism, I know as I get older my metabolism will get worse, so I need to stop eating so much rubbish now. I think replacing your periods where you want to binge eat with drinking a nice cup of tea or something might help.
