I found a new artist I am in love with(tracks below), and I am wondering what pieces of music without lyrics bring feelings of hope, love, happiness into your life. Darker tracks that help you process or reflect your mood would definitely be welcome too!

Orion by Metallica is one of the most beautiful pieces of Heavy Metal ever written in my opinion. I know some may not be able to comprehend how the word "beautiful" and heavy metal can go together in one sentence but to me they do. Perhaps only other old metalheads can understand.
By the way, there was another piece of music I wanted to post but I couldn't figure out who it was. It was an instrumental, electric guitar hit from the late 80's or early 90's. Fast, upbeat and far less dark than the Metallica masterpiece I just posted. I was certain it was either Joe Satriani or Steve Vai but I just searched around YouTube for all their stuff and it doesn't appear it was either of them. How frustrating. I know my description is vague but if anyone has the foggiest idea of what I might be talking about please do give suggestions as to who it might have been.
Oh well. On a far more light hearted note, here is a Satriani piece that I love. Brings tears to my eyes.
Hi Jim. YES!!!! THAT'S IT!!!!! Thank you so much for solving my conundrum! I literally spent over an hour yesterday on youtube trying to figure out who the hell wrote and preformed that piece of music and couldn't to save my life. I was absolutely certain it was either Satriani or Vai but it appears I was wrong. Thanks. I just shared Cliffs Of Dover on my FB page! Peace,
The last few days have been very introspective for me. It's a weird feeling, to be overwhelmed with a lot (and I mean, a lot) of memories from the past. Both good and bad. I guess for me, sometimes abuse got much bigger in my mind than it actually was. This piece sums up my feelings at the moment well...
