I was wondering if any of you might know of any good books or workbooks that might be of help to me. I mentioned in another post that during the last 6-9 months I have been having suppressed memories return, and they are also triggering other memories and feelings of guilt and fear. I wish I could talk to someone about this but I cannot tell anyone--including a therapist. So I have been trying to find some book that might help me deal with the stress.

A lot of people really like "Victims No Longer" by Mike Lew. It's probably a good place to start.

The book 'Repressed Memories: A Journey to Recovery from Sexual Abuse' by Renee Fredrickson is great and really helped me as I'm also going through memory recovery. This interview with Christina Enevoldson on the subject also helped me a lot:

Thanks.

I think I remember reading "Victims No Longer" when I was a teenager. I don't remember what it was about though. I will check out " Repressed Memories" for sure.

There is a book called The PTSD Workbook by Mary Beth Williams. It's pretty helpful.
