It's said ...

"Good things come to those who wait"

but who's to say ...

when it's too late

well put. I've never personally liked that little nugget. There's a value in the ability to be patient, but believing in some inherent value in not acting can lead to missed opportunity.

Hi Shyshark,

Did you have something in mind that it is too late for? Don

Hi Don ...

No Don ... it wasn't meant in that way ...
and thank you for your concern.
It's a sentiment that's a reflection on my life ...
waiting for something ... getting said something ... and then losing it.
When your life is like that ...
when do you stop waiting for something that has never happened before?

Shawn

My answer would be: as soon as you can. You have to determine a rubric for living that is actually within your control: things you already have and things you can realistically work toward. If something wonderful from out of the blue shows up, that's great. But in the meantime spend your time working toward your own happiness and not waiting for something to save us. Just my opinion.
