I'm really, really, really, really, really, really, really, really tired of all this rain.
It was 105 last year...I'd just like to see the sun again.

my city vancouver ...

"Vancouver is Canada's third most rainy city, with over 161 rainy days per year. As measured at Vancouver airport in Richmond, Vancouver receives 1154.7 mm of rain per year. By comparison, the amount of rainfall in London, England is nearly half that of Vancouver. In North Vancouver, about 20 km away from the Vancouver airport, the amount of rain received doubles to 2477 mm per year as measured at the base of Grouse Mountain."

I normally love rainy days but not when it fucks up my plans. Our 4th of July was a total wash-out. It actually did stop raining for a short period of time last night and when it did I tried to get my brother and his BF to join me in shooting off some bottle rockets but they wouldn't, even though that had been the plan all day if it stopped raining. That basically lead to a fight between me and my brother, (in front of the neighbors I might add), which ended in my taking all of our bottle rockets and tossing them into a puddle before storming off to bed early. (Yes, I had been drinking.) Oh well. Maybe next weekend will be nice because it's supposedly going to be nothing but the wet stuff for the ATL this weekend. Peace,

Ken

I'm pretty sick of the rain. I've been wanting to get out to do some mountain biking, but the trails have been too wet. Ugh.

I completely get this, it rained through the holiday, it has rained through every holiday this year! I tried to remember 10 days in a row when it didn't rain and I could not since the beginning of the year. Now we get flood warnings whenever it clouds over. I just want to dry out. The clouds and storm systems have kept the temperature below normal 15 degrees, so that is some relief, but like the OP, I would rather have 105 than soggy socks everyday.

Finally!

A day without rain. Hot and humid and I love it!!!

...but a tropical system could threaten later on...

Oh well.
