Your Spirit Man is new, totally, in Him, washed and made clean by the Lamb. Your soul and body are still of this world and that is the difference.

We find freedom in seeing ourself as He sees us, not as the world sees us. That is what I think Christ meant when He said you shall know the truth, and the truth shall set you free.

so true, BuffaloCO.
and speaking of Spirit...

Rejoice evermore.
Pray without ceasing.
In every thing give thanks:
for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus concerning you.
Quench not the Spirit.
Despise not prophesyings.
Prove all things; hold fast that which is good.
Abstain from all appearance of evil.

Watch and pray,
that ye enter not into temptation:
the spirit indeed is willing,
but the flesh is weak.

... and the flesh is wounded.

even Jesus Christ had his crisis.
the night before he was executed,
he prayed hard, he prayed without ceasing.

if thou be willing,
remove this cup from me:
nevertheless not my will, but thine, be done.
And there appeared an angel unto him from heaven,
strengthening him.
And being in an agony he prayed more earnestly:
and his sweat was as it were great drops of blood
falling down to the ground.

that sounds like some serious psychosomatic anxiety.
not even at my worst moments did i ever sweat blood.

my faith does not erase my fear.
i cannot pray the fear away.
my faith empowers me to endure my fear.
