Site guidelines offer criteria for topics which are deemed unacceptable for public posting and subject to moderator review. Included among these criteria is a note for "Incendiary and disrespectful statements." Such statements are approached on a case by case basis, and board users who feel a post contains incendiary or disrespectful statements, such as a statement which disrespects a sexual orientation, are encouraged to notify the moderator team using the Modalert function. Because of functions already in place on the board, the Web Oversight Committee sees no need for greater restrictions in the guidelines at this time.
