Unfulfilled resolution: At age 14 I vowed to stop MB. frown

I lasted a few hours....

Making a resolution like that actually made it much more difficult. It caused me to focus on it subconsciously.

I've never tried that as a new year's resolution...but I have tried to achieve new records of going without.

Right after our second child was born, my wife and I had very little, umm...time for that sort of thing. Plus, my wife had no appetite whatsoever for it either (understandable).

So I held off a week, then two---before becoming infatuated with all things sex. I might have well been a Victorian prude---even a bare ankle turned me on. I felt 18 again....but there is a downside---the so-called "monk's" or "priest's" disease. Google it.

20 days......Not going there again.

Instead, I resolve to drink less caffeine. We'll see.

Will

i've never been into resolutions -

- but i alternated between trying to stop doing it
and trying to see how many times i could do it in 24 hours!

I hate resolutions as they all are coming back like destructive boomerangs with direct hits in the head, lol

I never tried to see how many times I can. And yeah I was good in trying to speed up periods between two of them, lol
I also tried to stop it during one period of my life when I was very religious.
I didn't know that was called monk's" or "priest's" disease, lol, thanks Will.
I used to have that "disease" and I knew what is happening but my twin bro went almost crazy seeing it, who knows for how long he was struggling with it till he didn't burst worrying and saying that something is wrong with him and that is some kind of deadly disease, lol.

So there will not be any such resolutions this year wink

Yeah,

I've done that too. Everything's a personal best for me...even for trivial stuff. When I first learned about such things when I hit puberty, I managed 8 times in 24 hours. By the end, the equipment needed a rest. I seriously thought I had damaged something... shocked
