Interesting article. Part of it says that boys are being taken seriously as victims.

Andy, its deeply worrying that 14yo olds find it so difficult to tell, but I can see why they dont as they see themselves pretty much leaping into the adult world.

Predators are aware of this, and maybe that is how it happens to them.
Women are more likely to evade the law, as they are never seen as the aggressor.

Man or Woman, if you rape a kid, you rape them boy or girl, there is no difference other than the male will blame himself for his body reacting to touch.

Its massively difficult, but males sure have a hard time coping with it,

Very informative article, Andy. Tells it straight up as far as it goes, which probably is about as far as the reading public is going to absorb.

I am a women survivor but there are women perpetrators out there. As i see it the women, whether they were the direct perp or just protecting the perp., they are guilty. The damage is the same in a sense. They took something inocent and pure and distructively used it for their own sick stuff. Women perps need to be treated the same as a male offenders, period. light and luv,sis

Reality, I don't read much about rape, but I do know women respond as well, and also that men often don't respond. Just so you know you don't have to feel guilty either way.

There are some great links to sites and even a BBC doco tran>

Indeed, women perpetrators are perpetrators, period. Boys may be more easily enticed by a female, but a woman sex abuser doesn't deserve a break just because she didn't have to work as hard to commit the abuse.
