There is a bill in Congress meant to make a Constitutional Amendment which will prejudice proceedings against accused perpetrators. Prejudiced proceedings are not in anybody's interest, least of all through an amendment, and it gets even more ominous: a Battered Woman's group indicates that battered women themselves actually get accused themselves of battering their abusers. If this bill were to pass, the actual victims themselves would end up trapped in these prejudiced proceedings. It seems insane.
