Hi everyone,

I wanted to share this with all survivors and those who advocate for us. This article was taken from today's Hartford (CT) Courant and it details how another one of us said "enough" and stepped forward.

I can only hope that the more this happens, the more we take back what was and is ours, the more voices we can muster, we can achieve our goals of recovery and advocacy and maybe, just maybe, we can prevent another child's entry into this world none of us wanted in the first place.

You are so right - another important victory. I'm so glad for all those guys who were able to seek justice for what was done to them.

Of note, on the other hand, is the response of the archdiocese:

That's interesting. Is the guy never coming back? No one acts for him while he's gone? Why am I not surprised?

It's unfortunate but it's what I've come to expect from the hierarchy of such organizations, be it the church or congress.

That's why those of us who are able to must continue to take the fight right to their doors. I've got to believe there are more of us than there are of them.
