I lost my original story of two gay men abusing boys whilst fostering them.

They may get life!

This is the cookie british justice system.
This guy thinks about it and gets LIFE

This on does it and walks free.

Ever thought how bent the world can be!

Ste,

Here's the icing on the cake for the victim of the guy who walked free. Quoting the Sussex police:

Any allegation against a child is taken very seriously and we encourage children and their parents to come forward to let us look into it in conjunction with the Crown Prosecution Service.

Larry,

Sussex is home to many pedos, they are drawn to the place.

That cop was dressed in a clown outfit when he made that remark.

Kids would be terrified of an ordeal like that, they wont come forward after seeing that outcome.

I wonder whether judges suffer from PMT!

This reminds me of the Michael Jackson case and the effect it had on us here, especially the younger guys who could identify with the situation of Gavin Arviso.

Much love,
Larry

JapanZen,

Perhaps the article has a typo in it. Could it be the Clown Prosecution Service?

Much love,
Larry

Larry,

the MJ case had a big effect on me, I could not even think of the hurt those kids went through.
They cannot seek closure and have been identified by society.

They will be followed by shame their whole lives, each one of them are worth more than that perps life, tell that to the geeks' fans!

Clown prosecution service is very apt.
A single cell organism has more talent than they have put together.

Want a laugh!
Go to court and see the garbage dished out.
Stole to feed baby, instant jail.
F*cked with kids, go and wash your mouth out.

Ste,

I remember it well, and the reaction here when the verdict came out. My first thought was for that kid Gavin returning to school with all the giggling at him going on behind his back.

having done it myself i could never tell a kid to testify , i know it has to be done in some cases but it is not something any kid should have to do ,to me it was like verbal abuse, many of the things my perp said to me were used as excuses in court.the outcome of the trial really didnt matter ,it was the trial itself that was just a legal form of abuse ,there seem to be a lot of ways to legaly attack kids these days

I hear you Adam. My biggest casue of anxiety is the upcoming trial. Maybe if I get lucky my perp will accept a plea bargin. Everyone I've worked with so far has been decent but I've heard defense attorneys look for the tiniest contradictions to pounce on. I bet I'll make a mistatement and get ripped apart for it. Even worse is the prospect of the entire court seeing all those embarrassing pictures my perp took of me. Can't write anymore...

Bill, as Adam said things have changed a whole lot.
You should have an advocate to take you through the procedure before it goes ahead.

The judge will limit the embarrassment to you, he will take your feelings into account.
One further point, is that your statement is the truth and an attorney will not be let to rip it apart, that is what your defence attorney is there to do.

Hopefully, he will plead guilty to all this crap and save you a court appearance.

We are all behind you to wish you strength and good wishes,

ste

Fixed the broken link above.

Quote:
It has emerged his victim was told that an emotional letter she wrote about the abuse would not be admissible in court because it was not written under oath.

BULLSHIT!

Quote:
In the letter the girl, who cannot be named for legal reasons, said: "When I went to school a lot of people were very nasty to me but they didn't understand. I hated it when everyone came up to me saying I know how you are feeling.

I would never utter that to an abuse victim, but it is naivety.

Quote:
"But they didn't know - no one does. I started to get very angry to the point where I wouldn't let anyone get close to me.

"At school I wouldn't let the teachers touch me. At home I would rarely give my mum a cuddle. I just stayed in my room with the door locked and cut myself."

Just hope she is offered counselling,

ste

This pair abused kids put in their care, and their sentences dont reflect what they did.

They never showed an ounce of remorse for what they put these boys through.
How could they ever do that to the most vulnerable group in society!ste
