the MJ case had a big effect on me, I could not even think of the hurt those kids went through.
They cannot seek closure and have been identified by society.

I remember it well, and the reaction here when the verdict came out. My first thought was for that kid Gavin returning to school with all the giggling at him going on behind his back.

having done it myself i could never tell a kid to testify , i know it has to be done in some cases but it is not something any kid should have to do ,to me it was like verbal abuse,many of the things my perp said to me were used as excuses in court.the outcome of the trial really didnt matter ,it was the trial itself that was just a legal form of abuse ,there seem to be a lot of ways to legaly attack kids these days

I hear you Adam. My biggest casue of anxiety is the upcoming trial. Maybe if I get lucky my perp will accept a plea bargin. Everyone I've worked with so far has been decent but I've heard defense attorneys look for the tiniest contradictions to pounce on. I bet I'll make a mistatement and get ripped apart for it. Even worse is the prospect of the entire court seeing all those embarrassing pictures my perp took of me. Can't write anymore...
