Ah, scroll down past the Eurovision Song contest and the latest soap opera gossip and you'll find the story of interest.
Kirk, I know that your campaign against this man and his partners in crime is 100% justified, and win or lose you're going to be a pain to him, which is exactly what he deserves.

Dave,
That is such a good point. The conviction/sentence is the ultimate goal of course, but these perps are learning a bit about the hell that they made others endure, the difference being how richly they deserve whatever torment they are receiving.

I have since emailded him for an update. No reply!
Did you find anything else out?
It seems to have just gone cold,

Another lost one, they are not appealling his sentence.
The Attorney's decision to refer, or not to refer, a case to the Court of Appeal is taken only after careful consideration of all the facts and circumstances of the case and the relevant sentencing guidelines and authorities.
The Court of Appeal has said that a sentence is unduly lenient where "it falls outside the range of sentences which the judge, applying his mind to all the relevant factors, could reasonably consider appropriate".
(Attorney General's Reference number 4 of 1989 (1990) 90 CR App R 366). Therefore in order for the Attorney to refer it to the Court of Appeal it must be not just low but "manifestly not sufficiently severe" (Attorney General's Reference numbers 31, 45, 43, 42, 50 and 51 of 2003 [2004] EWCA Crim).
This is part of what I got,
blah, blah, blah,

The AG is upholding an appeal against those two who assaulted a baby with good reason. The public outcry on their sentence got him to take notice and appeal with five judges.
The sentence was light because they pled guilty to this case, but only after the cops hit them with pictorial evidence, so a guilty plea should not deter a longer sentence as it was gained under damning evidence.
If there was a similar public outcry over a serial pedo, like denning, then they may well have reopened the case.
So much for justice/injustice,
