Not in Bahrain actually. The country is pretty liberal, and in the Gulf MJ is a hugely popular celebrity. All through that area they insist he is innocent of abusing Gavin Arvizo.

The Gulf is also, unfortunately, very lax where abuse of children is concerned. That sort of thing is considered very shameful to the victim, and often abusers are let off with fines, if they are convicted at all.

The problem is that in the Gulf he is practically adored. The vast majority of the people there who care about such things are 100% convinced of his innocence, so they think there is nothing to watch out for. They figure he's just a strange guy and that he's like this because he was a child celeb and was denied a normal childhood. blah, blah, blah.
