I dunno who this guy is, but what I do know that the pop culture has a greater voice to kids than any other media, so lets hope that other pop idols follow this guys lead.

Shakka may not see it this way yet but his initiative has the potential to become really important. As we all know, an abused kid feels this terrifying mixture of shame, fear, guilt and confusion - and of course: "This was all my fault". Kids look up to music icons and respect them, and if these stars begin to speak out then it will be an important message to the youngsters that they CAN get help and it WASN'T their fault.
