Everybody Has a Story.
Sitting at the bar, and a conversation starts
One table over. "Nobody would be interested in me!
"My life isn't important. I'm nothing special."
How wrong you are, dear friend.
Everyone has a story, and is an actor
In their own play.
Everyone has an effect, like a stone in the water,
Or the person not there.
Everyone has a role, and it's MAJOR, even
when the action happens off our stage.
Everyone's a hero, a lover, an ally, a villain,
An enemy, a fool.
There is nothing we do that isn't without consequence!
What we do, or don't do, goes far beyond our reach.
Like footprints left behind that others follow
For no other reason that they're there.
We are not nobodies. Only those not there are nobodies
Because nobody has a chance to see, speak, or act
Everyone has a story, everyone, you see,
And right now, I'd like to hear yours.
Peace and love,
