I really liked this bit:

It reminds me of coming home in the winter time when I was a kid. There would already be a fire burning in the fireplace, or my Mom would ask me to go lay one for the evening. I used to like just sitting with the dog in front of the fire: her soaking up heat and me staring into the coals dreaming.
