A pain consumes me, words spoken,
Engulfing my soul within a fire,
Feelings and emotions lay broken,
Nothing left, no love, no token,
Devastation from what I did sire.

Not a moment passes and I feel demise,
My soul which sang, now cries,
Shattered upon rocks, now lies,
Torment from events gone by,
Tired and torn my spirit sighs.

Clouds pass by, observing in silence, the words not spoke,
Nature breaths around me, yet I am numb to the call,
What I held so close, now is broke,
Heartbroken, legs crumble, down I fall,
In this life that my tears soak.
