Scream in the night!!!!

Cut the darkness with anger!
Send it coursing through the night,
The yellowness of its burning fire lighting the darkness with rage!!!

how distant now the whistle of its demise
how far away
how lonely the sound of its descent

The noise had been so wonderful
So bright
Had broken through the night
Had made me laugh at my own anger thrown into the sky
Hanging there brightly if only for a second
Burning
Glowing
Seering the darkness

And then gone

Alone now again
Cold
So very cold
Huddled in the corner of the night

My burst
My flare
My scream...my final scream.....gone....finished

No answer?
No one there?

Just me alone

Curl up now tightly
Knees to chest
Head tucked deeply down
Warmth of breath now trapped within
Heavy, tired eyes
Good
Good it's coming now
Sweet, sweet rest
