I have an interview soon at a school in the area.

Michael Joseph, we can turn our wounds around and use them to heal ourselves and others. Turn the tables on the bastard perps.
Ever read any Henri Nouwen? Go Google or whatever you have and read a few papragraphs. Amazing man.

I am looking into self defence class. I wonder if self-esteem and self-confidence might be the more powerful weapons. For a long time I would have caved in to any perp in a second, but now I feel sure that would never happen. To me it seems that the reason for my strength lies in emotional resources that I have built up far more than in any physical strength, which for me, at 58, is going down the drain anyway.
