thanks rax, now that there is a place to post poems I will repost them here.
Not sure where The words come from sometimes.
this poem was written for the book, Jill Kuhn
was asking for poetry from male suvivors.
So I wrote this plus "You Bastard" which I
will post.

It has been 25 years since the abuse with the father figure ended. I wish it had not done so much damage. Now I am still moving forward somehow. No words, no words, scared like shit. Abuse is so shameful, I hate it.

My counselor said I need to take the lable of father figure off the abuser and put it on the men in my life who did not hurt me.
So I guess he will be known as the asshole, the bastard, ect. the one the hurt me
Right now I wish I wasn't so confused. I wish I could erase it. At least I have words now.

I want to thank Jill Kuhn for editing the book "In Cabin Six", which this poem that I wrote is in. A friend of mine, Ken, told me about her and the poems from survivors that she wanted. That is why this poem was written.

funny how soemtimes words are hard to find and some times words come easy
Funny how sometimes our own words seem like someone else's and the past seems so harsh and no sign of innocence there.
