I am using this poem in book as some of you know. I an also using the poem as a children's book and the poem My Heart of Gold as a picture book for adult's. Using My heart of gold to help others understand more about abuse.

I may use photo's, or drawings that fit the words. Any one here is welcome to give me ideas on illustrations. Thought that the book touching on abuse, My heart or Gold would be a nice one for survivor drawings. I plan on being creative, and I am open for ideas.

when the moon shines

Life is too short not to appreciate friends
and appreciate what life has to offer
each day brings new life, and a chance to meet
people that will help shape our hearts and lives

you never know what you will see or hear
and esp under the moon.

I liked this poem because it reminds me that seldom do good deep friendships begin in the glar of the sun, Most are nurtured in the soft dark light of the moon and grow from there.

what better place to be
quiet, pretty, peaceful, no one around
free to be what ever
having fun and loving being with someone who cares
and loves you

that is what it is all about

I am starting to make head way on the book, I wrote this poem while locked up by someone that took me in for 10 months, it is amazing how I can be so positive even while going through something so bad.

Glad I am out and glad to be with someone who cares and loves me.

a peaceful thought

friends are golden

they are what makes life worth living
