Why is it that still, people want for me to be what they want of me, and can not just accept me who I am?

I would just say to you that you are enough and good enough just as you are! You owe nothing to people who want you to reinvent yourself to suit them. Perhaps they don't realize how they hurt you when they make such demands, but the hurt is there nonetheless.

Just tell them this is it - 100% Andrei, take it or leave it and you're not prepared to discuss the matter in any other terms.

Beautiful. I think that poem speaks to and for everyone here in many ways. I don't know why anybody would want you to be someone you aren't, unless they just don't know the real you. I think 100% Andrei is pretty damn good and anything else is their loss.
