My sister, she is been pregnent again. She and her husband, they try I think five or six times already to have a baby since they been married. She always lose the baby. Once, she have the baby, it is very early, and it live in hospital few days before it dies. Finally they are able to adopt a baby last year. But still, they try to have one themselves.

So she is pregnent, and is not suppose to have the baby until December. And now, already, doctor tells her she must stay in bed. Already, she start to have troubles. He say in another 8-10 weeks, maybe it is safe to have the baby. Not now. So she must stay in bed and not work. They are very afraid again, and very depressed of this.

Please, anyone who will, can you please keep prayers or good thoughts for my sister right now? She and her husband, they are very good people, they are very good parents to their adopted baby, but want very much to have their own also. They are good people, they deserve some happiness and not to lose another baby. Please, anyone who will, please just help them by keeping positive for them? Thank you. I am sad for her, because just few days ago, she was very happy everything is going good, and now this again.

I just wished to say, my sister, she is been on the bedrest for just more then 2 weeks now and is doing good, other then she is going crazy bored! She reads some in English, so I sent her some books from here she can work at with her dictionery, and will send her some more when I am home. She will be 'best read' mom when this baby comes! Thank you for good wishes so far.

Andrei, if she is anything like I was when I was on bedrest, after she's bored she'll be very, very irritable... it is hard not to be able to do things for yourself...

So my good wishes extend to her husband, other baby and anyone else who has to be around her when the crankiness sets in

I was going to remind you to be patient and kind with her and then I remembered who I was talking to!

She is now 26 weeks. That was when she did give birth to the one child one time who lived few days then died. But last time she gone to doctor, all is good so far. The baby, it is a girl and just more then a kilo in weight. The doctor say that another four weeks it will be much more safe if something happen. Thank you.

Just more then 27 weeks now, and it is looking very good. Haysha is doing good, David, thank you to ask of him. He is a happy boy, and has family always around, and is excited to have new baby coming.

28 weeks, and all is good physical, but she is seeming, she gets more anxious and depressed. They said at first, 30 weeks, they think that will be safe, but of course will want it to go as far as it can. Thank you.

29 weeks, and still it is ok. Her doctor say 30 weeks is good, they will be very happy with 32 weeks, but of course want her to go for so long as she can. Thank you. I think after next week, she will maybe relax some.

30 weeks and the baby is 2 Kilos! The doctor say that she is probable 'safe' now, but still wish her to stay in bed as much she can, to make the baby grow more safely. It is going to be a girl!

I'm no one's honorary uncle, but I'm very happy for your sister and her family, Andrei, thank you for keeping us all up to date. My oldest still has happy memories of coming to visit me and the new baby in the hospital after I delivered. It is a wonderful time.

I miss to post here this week, because I was sick. But I wanted to say thank you for all who give good thoughts to my family. My sister, she will be at 32 weeks on Wednesday, and all goes good. Finally, she relax some, and she is starting to order for baby clothes and things for a girl on computer. It is first she have really relaxed some of it and is willing to think that yes, things will be ok. She was not talking of it or thinking of even baby names until just this week. Her doctor tell her still to be in bed, but that if she do not have the baby by then, they will enduse (?) her November 30. She was due third week of December, but they do not want to make her wait so much more time in bed. Thank you everone.

More then 33 weeks, and baby (girl) is more then 2 1/2 kilo. Lenya is allowed to be out of bed little more now. Still is nervous, but all, it looks healthy and good. Thank you.

I was scared when I saw a new post from you and then started reading and felt so happy that things were still well. Now it's almost time! Well, the doctor, he think that maybe my sister is another week farther in the pregnency than first he think. So he is very happy, the baby now is near to 3 kilos, and Lenya will have the baby on the 30th of this month if she do not have it before. I think finally she relax some, but I think she will not fully be happy until the healthy baby is born. Artur is very happy and excited, and my nephew is also becoming excited, talking about his sister. I think he do not know quite what it means, but he knows something exciting is happening. Thank you Trish, also for responding. I know it is some crazy to keep adding to this same post, but I am very happy of it all, and thankful to people to be so very supporting here.

Definately keep posting to this thread. There is so much else going on here that, for me at least, it's good that I know exactly where to look for the happy ending and believe me, I do look, at least once a day.

Maybe once the baby is born you can announce that in all caps all over the board so that everyone can share your joy.

Just to post again here, all is still good. The date that my sister will have the baby will be November 30, unless she have it in the time left before then. I think finally she is feeling more comfortable that it will be safe and ok. I think she will not feel fully 'ok' until she actually have the baby and it is healthy, but she is more relaxing some now, and they are setting up the room to have the baby in it too.

My sister, she still is doing good. They were going to make her have the baby today, but as she is doing good and she do not have the labours, they are going to wait until she do. She was 'due' more near the 20th this month, so will let her carry so long she can. Finally, I think she feel safer of it, but still, not choosing names or nothing, until the baby is born, healthy, and home.

We have the baby! She is born yesterday, perfect healthy baby girl, just more then 3 1/2 kilos. Her name is Nadyezda Arturievna. Nadyezda is Russian word for 'hope', because that is what get her here. She will be called Nadya. Thank everone, it is very exciting, and everone in my family are very relieved and excited and happy of all this!
