The opening scene to this movie takes part in Poland 1944.
Its as far as I ever got in the movie.

I cut the opening shot out, as it made me cry, and it is about a boy with his family being marched to the concentration camps. The boy is taken from his father, in a rainswept alleyway full of the horrors of what the little guy knew his family would suffer.

The power of this movie is worth watching, and it shows just how powerless we can be in the face of mans inhumanity to man.

I suppose it taked me back to when I cried out as a vulnerable boy, but this boy has powers, like we all thought or wished.

Truly gripping,

ste

Ste,

I think the truth of the matter is that as boys none of us had the powers we would have needed to prevent or stop what happened to us. And now as men we don't have the power to change the past. I think that's why fantasies about time travel and special powers are so attractive to people. It's all about "what if".

Much love,
Larry

I think that the significance to me, was the little boy losing his family.
It reminded me of when my father just blamed me for everything.

A time when my father stood at the door with his coat on saying that he was out of it.
I screamed at him to stay, and he said he would if I learned to 'behave'.

Being the 'it' of the family, it was hard to know how to behave when what was happening was automatic to me.

There were huge arguments about me every day, and I dont know how I got through, but this kid brings it home to me,
