That hymn is so beautiful, favorite!!

Always liked it since I learned it in school, love to sing it. Just pure hope and lotsa love from the Man upthere.

Thanks for sharing that. The preacher at Homecoming service today referred to this classic hymn, and to the story of its author, John Newton,
who went from being a slave trader to a warrior against slavery by God's "Amazing Grace."

That last verse I've not heard before. Can you tell me where you found it? I like it.

I was at the 4th Anniversary of the Passage of the Victims Rights bill today and it was sung by a lady who had an absolutely incredible voice,

I have always loved it.

Thanks Mike; I was familiar with the other six verses but not that one. What a fitting song to be sung for the Anniversary of the Passage of the Victims Rights bill. Here's hoping it is sung a lot more at similar occasions around the world and soon. Thanks for the website too--another one for my "favorites".
