this is hard to describe completely bu maybe it is not so unfamiliar that it will be
apparent -

i am realizing there are levels of things -

levels of hunger -

and levels of sensitivity senses and perception

a multitude within each one of us-

i have been unkowingly forced into a mono vision of my life -

but i know now why it cannot and has not been

adding to my mental health -

it protected me from the abuse - but

it also made me isolated and a pariah -

in recognizing these levels -

i can now feed myself - with the nourishment

i want or need to - recompose - or

appreciate -

Yes, I think on a subtle level, our beings are far more fluid and shifting than we ever allow ourselves to realize. And especially when we are trying to limit our behavior to please others, or even trying NOT to be, we end up occupying (and believing) a very uni-dimensional idea of our "selves". The reality is much richer, more layered, and complex... and if we can move outwards into some of those cut-off regions of the self, more fulfilling and energizing.
