i am realizing that the ideal of a huge sex life for me has been a confusion between wanting a lot of the love and affection (in all senses)

vs.

a cohesive life -

it's hard to express in any other terms than my own but when i meet the right guy all of that will be a part of it - i will have my life and i do not need to run around endangering my self in sex that i don't want - i mean i may want it but it would n't be confused with something more -

make sense? -

although i find hooking up - i find hasn't really worked for me -

in a sense what i mean to say is that sex and love are different and in knowing this i can be a better lover -

That is so true. There is a big difference betwwen the to. I can have sex with anyone and it may not mean anything but if i love someone it is a totally different ball game. I hope you find that special person as I have. Take care of yourself. Be safe in all that you do.

I think I prefer the latter, because sex without love is like cake without the icing. Good, but not as satisfying as something that can make it FRICKING GREAT!
