Hello all. Sexual Abuse has brought out several problems to me. Several of the problems I have now are medical, because I have survived being sturck by a NYC subway train. However, what I am faced with each day, is trying to deal with the medical problems of not being able to "p" when I want, but because of the sexual abuse of more than fifty (50 years ago. Because of the subway accident, I have to let down both my levis and underpants, and then the problem happpens. I immediately think of me as a young boy and being told I was a bad boy, forced to put on a dress and then screwed. When the nurses in the hospital I was at back in MA,found outyoung men were taken away by the police, but I still hadto be stripped by the nurses, called a bad boy and then spanked of the bare ass. Where I am lost is how do I try to "fix" this problem, knowing I am gay causes further mental problems. My question to you guys is, any suggestions? My therapist is aware of this problem, but doesn't have any present day advice.

I read your post yesterday and have wondered about it some since then.
Does SA at an early age cause physical illness as well ? I don't know, but I do know that I have a couple of fairly unusual ailments. Firstly I have sleep apnoea, a very "physical" problem I know, but it started at the same time as the abuse. A link to these two is pretty remote i guess.
My other ailment is migraneous neuralgia ( aka hortons neuralgia, cluster headache ) not related to migraine at all, but a suicidal pain down one side of the face and head caused by the nervous system in the face going ape-shit. At it's worst it was twice a day for 90 minutes a time.Thankfully it's less now, Again this complaint hasn't been "medically" linked to stress or any other "mental" problem. But since I've progressed thorough my recovery it's faded dramatically.
But I would be interested in hearing from anyone with unusual "physical" ailments, maybe stress etc can be a trigger for these things.
Sorry this doesn't directly address your question Bos', but it just made me wonder.

Lloyd and others. Sexual abuse DOES agravate health problems, or at least thats what some of my doctors and abuse thereapist say. Given that answer and my agravated problems of being hit by a NYC subway train they really don't know how to "proceed." That all being said, I was looking for any coments or thoughts. Some meds cause problems like this i suspect. My effexor causes pain at the end of urination...feels like a bladder infection. Didn't have that before I started effexor. Mentally, I always choose the stall over the urinal, if one is available. Toilet tension...another symptom for me. Be well Stay well

I think that I know where you are coming from...Effexor will give you uncontrolable piss fever...Boo Boo ...when on it ...would piss the floor before she made it to the bathroom...that's not your problem..you got pull down pants fever...can't piss when you pull your pants down! When I was a biker we would ride coast to coast ...to bring good things back and forth....we would smoke and drink beer ...one after another to keep going...if we stopped we got busted..but we still had to pee!!! We all wore piss rigs that straped around the middle and over the dick...with a hose running down the leg to the end of the pants...when riding we hooked up the hose to one running to the rear of the bike....never stopped to piss only to buy more beer and roll big ones!!! They sell them at med surply stores...you get used to wearing them and won't have to pull your pants down to pee...just hook a bag to your wheel chair! We didn't use bags...we played "Fan out and pee"...Pull in side by side ...blocking all lanes..and let the butt heads behind us have it...don't think that Fan out and pee will work on a wheel chair..but you can always throw the bag!!! Try it and good luck!!!

Hi bosishere. This works for me. Buy a one gallon plastic jug of milk. I buy non-fat. Buy two you get a better deal. Guzzle the milk,wash out the jug,use a sharp instrument and cut the top off the jug leaving the handle intact. At the 99 cent store buy a can of knock-off Lysol spray. With me so far? Good. Okay now. Set that jug next to your bed. Or your computer. Wherever you spend the most time. When the urge strikes you you flop your whang into the jug,pee to your heart's content. When the jug's full you pour the wee wee into the toilet,wash out the jug under the bathroom faucet & blast it's interior with the 99 cent spray. This kills the stench of rotting pee. I've been using the same jug now for two years. I don't notice anything. Neither do my eight cats.
