hi,

it's early morning. I am about to start my day.

I am thinking of how much puzzling I do in life.

And yet also try and accomplish things too.

I think the puzzling is getting in the way of finding work now.

I will put my puzzling "in it's place" for the moment - and perhaps see obstacles or challenges ahead as just that - and not puzzle too much but really forge through and do what is necessary.

I suppose after so many rejections - I tried to find the magic "key" - and now I realize - there is none - or there is none beyond completing the task and not reeling inwardly from unanticipated results.

I hope each of you have a productive day that is happy making yet also triumphant.

I love you -

peace -

Mark

ps - where is Russ?

it's weird too - i think that - in directing myself like this - an arrogant side of myself is coming clearer -

as much as i can have the drive to push ahead -

i think i have to not mistake the drive ahead with an undhelpful - self undermining -

a bull in a china shop quality at times -

Mark,

I think you're right. Try to focus on the employment issue without a lot of distraction, and especially without self-judgment. There are a lot of incredibly talented people in the same situation, and all of them deserve work. You must have seen much the same thing in LA.

Much love,
Larry
