i have been thinking i have to be perfect before i make a move -

even to the point of spending my last dime on

'decorating' when in fact i ought to be looking for a job -

the priority comes into my head with such

blackout of all else- i finally stared right into it - and asked why do i think i must do this?

- because i have to be perfect before i make a move

Mark,

I know that when I am faced with a great challenge that I fear I can't handle, I am tempted to escape from it by turning to some smaller more manageable task. It's just procrastination of course. But I fool myself into thinking, okay, I will deal with the big one tomorrow, then tomorrow, then tomorrow, etc.

Sound familiar?

Much love,
Larry

i am trying too to think of how perhaps posessing

'things' even crazily decor - is like a transitional object -

like a security blanket -

needing something to hold on to sometimes i guess -

thanks larry
