Hey, man. I read your story. I put my story there too right before you. Don;t let the abuse ruin your life. You opened up to your wife, that was the best thing you could do. Let her help you. She can be your best friend. Keep coming here and reading what these guys say. I know it helps me. I go back and read old posts and see things I didn;t see before or maybe didn;t wanna see before. I write things out, that helps me.

You know what? Don;t let the abuse be your story. Live a life in spite of what happened to you. Don;t let some selfish prick ruin your life or take your life away from you. You make a decision to take your life back. It;s easier to say it then to do it but you can do it. We;ll help you. The worse thing that you can let happen is to push your wife away and then later on see what a mistake that was, don;t push her away. There;s alot of guys here that push their wife or girlfriend away and then want her back. Don't let that happen. Don;t let the abuser win. We;ll help you.

good advise big bear, I agree with what you said.

The abuse is not our whole story, we are much more than what someone has done to us. We are people, and we were children. Glad you are here and shared that part of your life, I know it is hard to do.

THANKS THANKS ALOT THIS IS A GOOD PLACE & I KNOW YOUR RIGHT. YOU KNOW FROM THE OUTSIDE I LOOK LIKE I HAVE FUN ALL THE TIME. KAYAKING, RAFTING,BACKCOUNTRY BOARDING AND SNOWMOBILING, FISHING, & HIKING. BUT I HAVE AN ANGER STREEK, MEAN & HATEFUL. ALLWAYS SHORT TEMPERED & IMPATIENT. DEMANDING & CONTROLLING. I KNOW IT RUNS IN THE FAMILY WITH THE OLD MAN AND GRANDPA {GOD REST HIS SOLE}. SO I'M NOT SAYING THIS IS THE ONLY THING THAT SCREWD ME UP, I WAS ALL READY. THINKING ABOUT IT. IT IS A MAJOR FRUSTRATION THOUGH THAT DOES FEEL GOOD TO LET GO. THAT BASTARD. I THINK I MIGHT NEED TO CONFRONT HIM. SHOULD PROBABLY START WORKING OUT THOUGH BECAUSE FROM WHAT I REMEMBER HE WAS MUCH STRONGER THAN ME. HE INTIMATED ME BADLY. WHEN I THINK ABOUT HIM COMING AT ME WHILE I'M IN THE CORNER IN A BALL, CRYING TO PLEASE DON'T BUT HIM COMING ANYWAY LOOKING THROUGH ME LIKE I WAS DOG SHIT. THAT FACE SO MEAN & HARD. HE REALLY WASN'T THAT MUCH OLDER LIKE 4 YEARS OR SO. I'VE SEEN HIM SINCE THAT NIGHT AND DONE NOTHING. I'M SUCH A PUSS. REALLY EVEN NOW JUST A BLOWHARD. I DON'T KNOW WHAT I'D DO IF I SAW HIM AGAIN. BUT I THINK I MIGHT PLAY SOME PRIVATE EYE {ALLWAYS KIND OF WANTED TO BE ONE} AND FIND HIM. DON'T HAVE MUCH MONEY OR TIME SO IF HE MOVED A LONG WAY THEN IT COULD BE A LONG TIME. I'D RATHER PLAY THEN SPEND ALL MY FREE TIME HUNTING A BASTERED DOWN. I FORGET HIS LAST NAME THOUGH. THANKS AGAIN

You;re right. You have all those things to do. Why wast your time hunting down some sick bastard? he doesn;t deserve your time and attention. You live your life. Go to therapy, I know it helped me, and coming to this place helps alot too. It took me a long time before I realized how much therapy helped.

Live your life. Have fun. Love your wife. Let her in. Take your life back. Don;t let that bastard win.
