Thanks to all of you out there who have posted on my various topics. I read each and everyone of them and will probably read them again and again as I need encouragement.

My husband and I are doing good. Things have calmed down in our lives as far as school and work so that has taken alot of pressure off.

I got up the courage to tell him about this site. I don't know if he has visited it but he knows that I found it. He was not upset and was very receptive and open to talk about things.

He is open to therapy for himself, marital counseling if needed and has even encouraged me to seek out my own therapist to work through my own stuff. (Because face it...we all have our stuff and baggage)

I juggle alot as a wife, mother and student. I also work outside the home at a 40 hour + job. Sometimes I feel smothered under the pressures of multiple responsibilities.

My husband is amazing. I know that I have vented about the frustrating things that occur but I want to take a moment to praise the good things.

Although bad things have happened to my husband he is loving, cosiderate, supportive and treats me like a queen. And I don't just say that to say it...he really is my soul mate.

Although he was initially (before we were married) afraid to become to0 close to me (in fear of being hurt or rejected) once we fell in love he was committed. He's a great husband, friend and father.

I understand (thanks to a few of the posts) that although there are common reactions that people have to SA...not everyone experiences all of them. Just because others have acted out doesn't mean he will. I have to trust in him and believe in the vows that we took. He hasn't been dishonest before and I shouldn't start treating him in a suspicous manner. That's not fair to him.

I pray that everyone on this site is able to find happiness, love, security and peace in their life.

I realized that there are going to be days that are down right miserable but if we look at who we are with and can't imagine being with another...then working through it is worth it.

love to you all

dear desert mom,
your hubby is quite fortunate to have a fine and loving wife like you.
we, and more specifically i, am willing to help or answer anything i can to help you two.
i've hurt too many or been hurt too much myself and am trying to get "better" now. just bringing out my csa a month and half ago has been hard. i lost two wives and my recent 2 year relationship. i was not all at fault, we each had our own issues but my csa certainly aded to it at the least.
anyhow, no need for thanks but glad to hear your joy and contentement of being here, keep
being the kind, loving wifeand mother you are , and your man will be so well off in the futre. sure, rough times on occasion or more, but he is very blessed to have you.
take care, guy

thank you for your kind words, it's what makes MS such a special place, a genuine online community.

I have a feeling that you and your hubby are going to be ok, you have the will, the attitude and the love to make it work.

Dave

Desert Wife - there has always been one word that I have difficulty with, that is 'love' - it sounds like you both (yourself & husband) give and receive it in bucket loads (does it sound strange someone telling you that)?

Your Husband and yourself have something that many of us do not - let that make you smile.

The other word that sticks in my mind is hope... I believe that you and your Husband will make it...I hope that someday I will be in a similar situation...I have hope!

Thanks ...Rik

Thanks for posting that b/c many times I read things here that make me feel so sad and what you just posted made me smile \:\)

I gave me a sense of hope that with love and support one can get through all this and have a loving, thriving relationship.

I send you ((hugs)) and wish you all the best.
