I learned in therapy tonight that it takes great strength to face and feel the pain of my past SA. I considered myself weak because I've been uncontrollably crying, and shaking with fear and anxiety; nearly 30 years later. I am so glad I have finally found help, now I can begin to take back what was so cruelly stolen from me.

Taipan, you are feeling the pain you buried, but you are also releasing it so it doesn't poison you. Yes it hurts but its a good thing too. Glad you have a good therapist to guide you. Take care.
