Hi guys,

Well I am all broken!!

I went to see Averger Sevenfold (A7X) Play last night (Monday 23rd). It was fucking great. Apart from me having a little acendent! I fell...I smashed my head against the fall, and cut open my head just above my eyebrow and have brusing and swelling around the right eye and a lovely black eye! I blew out my right knee, gashed my left elbow, and brusied my right arm from the elbow up. But enjoyed every minuet of it!!

The funny thing is...It was school photos today!! So I am there with my year2 class (6-7 year olds) and look like quite fucked up. Its gona make good conversation with the parents!!

Keep on Rocking! - I will!

Every corner, every city
There's a place where life's a little easy
Little Hennessy, laid back and cool
Every hour, cause it's all good
Leave all the stress from the world outside
Every wrong done will be alright
Nothin but peace, love
And street passion, every ghetto needs a thug mansion

Usually it is the kids that bang themselves up just before picture days. I know it is hard to get picture day without my son banging himself up just before the schedule photo session.

I don't have any experience with a mosh pit and am not exactly sure what one is. But I have been to punk bars and experienced slam dancing 20 some years ago. Looking back it doesn't seem like a good idea but what the heck it was fun then and it is a pretty good memory.

Bill - there's not really that much difference between Slam Dancing and a Mosh Pit.

Slam Dancing we used to do to Metallica / Slayer / Megadeth (etc) - I used to call it the Scarecrow Dance because everyone had a bit of the 'Worzle Gummage' about them.

The Mosh Pit is now on a similar basis, but instead of just crashing into each other you sometimes see mosh circles (Anthrax at Leeds) - basically its just all the people with a bit of steam to let off (usually near the stage)jumping around & crashing into each other, crowd surfing etc. Everyone else just does whatever they do (stand still / keep out of the way / go 'Holy **** - what are they doing'.

It's good therapy.

Don't know what they call it though when you have the likes of Guns'n'Roses on at Leeds (Axle Rose / Bucket Head & others, no Slash / Sorum / McKagan). Everything just lifted when they came on (very late) & it was like the 20,000 people at the front of the crowd just became this immense mass of electricity - excellent.

Little E - are you ready for Sabbath, The Heed (Lemmy & Co.), Revolver etc. Bring it on!

Rik (sometimes known as Slayer).

Anyone that's not into Rock music, don't panic we are not crazy satanists or anything (there is very little damage done in a mosh pit).

Um, ouch! Take care of yourself, and be careful!

You are only young once, but you can act young forever! (I say this as watching to adult friends of mine throw popcorn at a sleeping person, waiting to see how long they can do it before she wakes up!)
