aceofdiamonds Junior Member Registered: 04/10/04 Posts: 12	I've always kept at least a tiny glimmer of hope alive cause when you lose that, it would seem you would be really lost. Sometimes it's like what happened to me is more horrifying now that I have some perspective than when it actually happened. My motivation is pretty much revenge which I know is a bad thing but if I end up in a fulfilling relationship it will be like HA you didn't beat me! I've always been a resilent person and hope is a big part of that. $\:\)$

You are not alone...over 1000 men have disclosed their abuse to me in the last 20 years...by now, I feel so fricken normal, it ain't funny! To go from the lowest of lows (and I mean, as a teen it was hell), I can't tell you how much diffent my life is now. If someone would have told me then, I would someday be able to make people laugh and smile, I would have said they were crazy.
