Male Survivor Stories Needed
The increasing awareness of the overwhelming issues related to male survivors of violence, trauma, and abuse has many survivors seeking help for their experiences. However, there is little support being offered for the significant other/spouses of male survivors. Dr. Debra Warner is writing a book related to male survivors significant other/spouses. The book is titled His History, Her Story and will discuss the male survivorís history and focuses on the struggles the significant other/spouse has in regards to the relationship. Intimacy, self-care, expert commentary and multiple systemic layers of how to cope will be discussed. To complete this book, there is a need for people tell their stories of their experiences in relationships from their point of view. This book is being written to provide a resource for those experiencing the same situation and to give clarity to issues they may be facing.
There is no compensation, but all will receive author credit for their story and a free copy of the book once published. This book is being written to provide a resource for those experiencing the same situation and to give clarity to issues but not for financial profit.
If you are interested in contributing your story, please contact Dr. Warner at the information provided below.
