DPS searching for 'armed and dangerous' sex offender

AUSTIN, TX (KLTV) -The Texas Department of Public Safety is searching for a violent sex offender who police say sexually assaulted a 3-year-old and a 5-year-old child.
Floyd Montrel Moore, 29, who is considered armed and dangerous, was added to the Texas 10 Most Wanted Sex Offenders list on Wednesday, and a cash reward up to $5,000 is being offered for information leading to his capture.
Moore is wanted for aggravated assault and sex offender registration violation. He has ties to the Fort Worth, Arlington and Denton areas. His prior charges include aggravated sexual assault of a child, aggravated robbery with a deadly weapon and unlawful possession of a firearm by a felon.
Police say Moore has a violent criminal past, including convictions in Tarrant County for aggravated sexual assault of a child for incidents involving a 3-year-old female and a 5-year-old female.
He has been incarcerated on multiple occasions and was last discharged from in December 2012 after serving time for being convicted of aggravated robbery with a deadly weapon. He last registered with authorities as a sex offender in August 2013. On May 16, 2014, the Tarrant County Sheriff's Office issued a warrant for his arrest for aggravated assault-serious bodily injury.
On Dec. 16, 2014, the Fort Worth Police Department issued an arrest warrant for sex offender registration violation.
Moore is 5 feet 11 inches tall and weighs about 185 pounds. He has various tattoos on his arms, legs, hands and chest, including the words “Lord Knows I Tried” on his neck. Other tattoos include musical notes on his lower right arm, a Polo logo on the left side of his chest and various tattoos on his hands, upper right arm and lower right leg.
He also has skin discoloration on the left side of his face.
