I was never particularly good in art. I can conceive of some really cool ideas, but I just can't execute them on paper, clay...or any medium.
In high school, a semester of art was mandatory. I tried my best to make a small statue out of clay...the assignment was to re-imagine an Oscar statue. Coming out of the kiln, mine had a broken arm and leaned to one side. The instructor (who loved puns) simply remarked that it was a "statue of limitations."
'A' for effort, but a 'C' for execution.
