Hey everybody,
I've been living in New York City for the last 4 years, but I'm moving back to Kentucky (where I grew up) in a few weeks.
My T in NYC has been terrific, as he has written an important book on the subject of men dealing with CSA as adults. I'm ready to take a break from therapy for a few weeks/months, but I'm curious if anyone knows any T's in Kentucky.
I'm aware of "The Farm," which was set up for clergy abuse survivors, but since I don't fall into this category, I'm hoping there's more. At least some T's that aren't completely ignorant of the subject.
Thanks for answering what is probably a long shot...

Have you asked your current T if he could help you locate an appropiate T in the area you are moving to?

yes, and as a typical new yorker, he can barely find Kentucky on a map. He's a great guy, but his professional organization doesn't have any kentucky members.

oi, the new topic button and reply button are too close together. isn't there a part of this whole website, like on the main page that helps find a therapist? I hope you find one you like, if you don't when you go in you can become a ninja and sneak away. i think you'll find one you like and trust like your one in NYC. I've never been to NYC, is it as cool as everybody says it is?

Hi I spent 10 days at the farm and they may be willing to help you. They are going outside the clergy abuse only and helping others. Sue A. would help you find someone even if she can't help at the farm. Tell Sue Tom says hello from WI.
