Welcome to Male Survivor. A lot of good people have already given some good advice. Take your time and share as much or as little as you are comfortable with.

If you have any questions, don't hesitate to ask.

All the best.

I ask you to judge me by the enemies I have made. ---FDR

Hey Landscape

I am sorry for reason be here, it is a heavy burden we bear. But many hands lighten the load, so we all share the burden together and and the task becomes a little easier.

I have not been around much In a while, so I feel a little in catch up mode.
So if you'll forgive the late welcome, I'd like to extend that welcome to you as well.

Keep well
Presence is the key, for all we have is now.

Hi Landscape,

glad you took the step. You need to move forward as you feel things "fit". You will find your way...sounds like you already have a plan in mind.

Here if it seems you ever want to talk.

Thank you for coming in and sharing.

I hope you find your way here. It is a great resource and some very kind people.

It has helped me greatly.
I feel more like I do now than I did when I got here.

It's been about a year since I started therapy and reading these forums. I haven't posted in a long while, but I read on here just about every day. I know how much it means to have someone respond to your post, and so I promise to contribute more than I have recently.

Things are better than they were a year ago, and when I look back I know I've made progress. There is still so much further to go. I'm still scared sometimes, and I'm still trying to find my way.

I guess I just want to say that I'm still here, and I really appreciate that you are all here with me, even though I haven't said it very often.

I'm so glad that you are able to see progress and please know that I am glad that you are here for me as well. That's what it is all about! I too am scared a lot of the time, but not nearly as much as I once was. I am finally beginning to see that these tiny steps forward that I don't usually notice do add up over time.

Be well,

Thanks, Landscape, for the reminder that this isn't a solo act.

The fear, guilt and all the other stuff that go along with CSA seem just a little lighter when they're shared with others who know and have experienced it. I sure don't wish this on anyone, but it's sort of comforting to know there are a whole lot of guys who've gone through it, survived, and are making progress.
It doesn't get easier - you just get better.

We are still here! I'm glad this year has shown you some progress. The great beauty of this site for me is the 24/7 presence of so many brothers. brothers who (unlike mine), will never let you down! Keep us posted on your progress, and I look forward to hearing from you.

Through these fields of destruction
Baptisms of fire
I've witnessed your suffering
As the battles raged higher

And though we were hurt so bad
In the fear and alarm
You did not desert me
My brothers in arms
