I echo Lee's words. It was always to be our secret. If you tell you will be taken away and your parents will believe you are an ungrateful son. Sad how misuse of authority can destroy lives. The words are all too familiar.

I tried to talk to someone about my Rape in 1977 and ended up being discharged under CH 5 (unfit for military service} Years later I was diagnosed with PTSD

I was lucky. My Major sent me off-base for help. The military mental health facilities take a Mcdonald's approach, If you cannot be "cured" in THEIR timeline (or not on THEIR menu) you get "reassessed." It sucks!
