We have added a new forum on the member side of the website called Men Abused/Assaulted As Adults. As with its public-side counterpart, this forum is a place where male survivors who have been sexually abused or assaulted as adults can come to discuss their experiences and issues, and seek support from fellow adult abuse survivors. Being on the member side of the firewall, it should be unsearchable with internet search engines.

Here is the link

It is in member's part of the board so it is not accessible for all.

No these two are not the same places Victor.
Your link is pointed to ASA forum that is publicly displayed (and it is present here for long) at other side link that I've posted is directed to new ASA forum in member's part of the board.

There is part of the board only visible/accessible for paid members.
It is not so active as some of public boards but at same time it is more private and not visible for search engines as Google.

I gave it a quick test. Anyone with access to the member side of the firewall should be able to see and post in the new forum.

I became a paid member maybe a week ago. How would I know how to access the site without remembering a special link? I, too, received an access denied message.

I am in the exact same position. I am a paying member - but my profile does not acknowledge this.

would any of you paid members be willing to tell me what the benefits are to having a paid membership?
(other than financially supporting the site which is good enough reason to join by itself)

i am just wondering what exactly comes extra that isn't already provided, which is plenty.

I just wanted to support the site because it has been so helpful to me. They have a sliding scale fee for membership. I'm a senior on social with no savings, assets, etc. The cost for membership for me is the lowest at $35. I am so grateful the site is here. I want it to be here for everyone who needs it. It is a lifeline for me.
