So guys... Here's a project idea:

SUMMARY

A child is born,
full of dreams.
And we are made to soar
to grow and live our dreams.

But every day,
childhood sexual abuse
robs children from their dreams.
We survivors suffer in silence
Life passes us by.

But what if, today,
we were to help one another,
to live the dreams we couldn't before.
To reclaim the life we are capable of.
To stand tall and proclaim,
We are Made to Soar.

Join us as we travel the world
helping survivors rise again
to live their dreams.

DETAIL

I am contemplating creating a project where I help my fellow survivors like you live your unlived dreams from chilhood.... like going to meet and interview you survivors, filming it, finding out your struggles and dreams and then finding a way to help you live your dreams... and going along for the ride with you!

for example, if you always dreamed of climbing Mt Kilimanjaro, and that is what you REALLY want and are ready to commit to, i could help fundraise, pull together your team and guides, and go on the adventure with you, and we could plant a flag in the name of survivors on top. . . this is just an example-- this is about YOUR dreams!

to give you another example... read this post!... this explains how i've busted a nut and been working to live my childhood dreams:

i think it would make an awesome youtube series!!! and it could raise money for prevention while helping us dare to dream and heal!

it's a big bodacious idea. a gamechanging way to move from silent struggling to telling your story and receiving support to live the life you've always dreamed of. for the public it would be very inspiring- raising awareness about survivors. we would be telling our human stories. not only the horror of the traumas we've suffered, but more importantly the triumph of our spirit as we dare to dream again!

so here's my question to you guys:

what have you always dreamed of doing?

If you could do anything...

let the little boy out and speak from that place....

if all the weight and difficulty of your abuse were lifted... what does that little boy in you dream of doing?

forget what's realistic

just tell me from your heart...

who knows... maybe it's possible and maybe i can help you create it!

this is your invitation to inspire us with your dreams. who knows what may happen!!!

Play the piano as I know I am gifted
Sing as I know I am gifted
Love as I know I am gifted
Be loved as I know am gifted
Be the strong and healthy physical being I am gifted
Be the strong and healthy mental being I am gifted
Be the strong and healthy emotional being I am gifted
Be the strong and healthy spiritual being I am gifted
Embody unconditional love while remaining personally intact
As I know I am gifted

Awesome! That is awesome! Have you played the piano recently, and sung?
What can you do for your physical, mental, emotional and spiritual health?

Can you find any pictures that speak to these dreams and post the links here?

Hey Jacob, cool. Some questions for you:

What does holding down a job mean to your little boy?

How many jobs have you held in the past 5 years?

What would people say who have worked with you in the past?

What type of work makes you feel alive?

How much money do you need to live?

What does your little boy dream of doing?

What gets in your way of holding down a job now?

What are you good at? What could you be good at?

What do you dislike doing?

What types of jobs are available in your area?

Can you create your own job?

I think this is an awesome idea. I'm not sure how to respond yet, but I'll think about it. This is inspiring though smile and I needed something like that this week. Thanks!
