The police are charging my perp. Imagine he'll go into a rage when he is told he has a hearing to attend.

His lack of co-operation with the investigation and the fact it happened 10 years ago are not going to let him get away with it. Now I just wait and see what happens and when.

That is great news TIS!

I hope you are taking care for self in these moments as it could be very stressful to wait and become part of such trial?

It's encouraging to hear when some justice is finally served. Hang in there. Whether the justice system works or doesn't work, our work continues. I'm happy for you, hoping that the stress of this, even though it's exciting, doesn't weigh on you.

I hope the look on his face is one of abject horror. One which encompasses the misdeeds of his past, coming back to haunt him in the most profound and devastating way possible. An expression that relates his understanding that he is finally caught, and that he is totally fucked. Fight the good fight. Good luck. Peace,

Ken

Pedophiles are very popular in prisons. He should stay busy for a long time.

Your avatar is going to work well in dealing with this. Take it slow. The justice system can be agonizingly slow. But justice eventually comes.

The trial, hearing, etc. will be stressful, but I hope you can relish (if that's the right word?) this anticipation of what's to come, and I hope you do get to see the look on his face when his reality is shattered.

15 charges against my perp all involving what he did to me when I was 14-16yrs old. Happy that it is a nice long list gives him less chance of wriggling free. The officer who told him he was to be charged said he just looked stunned (previously every time he went in for bail he was angry loud and mouthing off trying to intimidate officers)

4-6 months estimate before a trial assuming he doesnt plead guilty which I doubt he would plead guilty.

Bit gutted that the trial has been set for July 2014 feel it is a long time to wait and gives the bastard another 7 months of freedom oh well nothing I can do until then except seek some form of specialised therapy.
